How to use Valarcha

Everything in plain English, in the order you will need it. No technical knowledge required — if you can use Instagram, you can use this.

1. Getting started

  1. Create your accountClick Get started, enter your email and a password. We email you a 6-digit code — type it in to confirm the address is yours.
  2. Switch Instagram to a Business or Creator accountThis is free and takes a minute, inside Instagram: Settings → Account type and tools. Instagram only shares numbers with apps for these account types, so nothing works without it.
  3. Connect InstagramClick Connect Instagram, log in when Instagram asks, and review the permissions it lists. Tap Allow and you land back on your dashboard.
  4. Wait a momentThe first load pulls your posts and numbers from Instagram. After that it is fast.

You can connect more than one Instagram account. Use the profile menu at the bottom-left to switch between them or add another.

2. Your dashboard, explained

  1. People reachedHow many different people saw your posts. This is the number that limits everything else — you cannot gain followers from people who never saw you.
  2. People who interactedHow many of them liked, commented, saved or shared.
  3. Who interactedThe second number as a percentage of the first. Under 2% means people see you and scroll past; above 5% is strong.
  4. FollowersYour follower count, with the change over the last week.
  5. Most important right nowThe two or three things worth fixing first, based on your own numbers — not generic advice.
  6. Growth over timeFollowers and daily reach as simple lines, plus a rough estimate of when you will pass your next milestone.
  7. Audience peakWhich day your posts do best, and the best time to post.

3. The four tabs

  1. OverviewThe summary above — your headline numbers and what to fix first.
  2. What to doYour full list of suggestions, ordered by what matters most. Each one says why it matters and exactly what to do this week.
  3. Your audienceWho engages with you — their city, age and gender once you pass about 100 followers — plus your main topic and the interests to use if you run ads.
  4. Your postsHow each post type performs, which posts gained you followers, how long people watch your Reels, and your best posting time.

Audience demographics stay hidden until roughly 100 followers. That is an Instagram privacy rule, not a setting — it appears on its own.

4. Automations — keyword auto-replies

  1. Choose the triggerComments on a post ("comment DRESS and I’ll send the link") or Direct messages ("DM me DRESS"). Pick whichever you will ask for in the post.
  2. Set the keywordSomething distinctive like ITEM1 or BEACHVIDEO. Not case-sensitive — ITEM1, item1 and Item1 all work. Avoid common words like "link", which would fire on half your comments.
  3. Write the messageWhat they receive — your link, a discount code, a prompt, a booking page.
  4. Add a public reply (optional)Something like "Just sent it to your DMs" appears under their comment, so everyone else can see the offer is real.
  5. Decide who gets itOnly DM followers turns your offer into a reason to follow. Turn it off to reply to anyone.
  6. Save and postThen make a post telling people to comment or send the keyword. Say it out loud and put it on screen — most people watch on mute.

Every send is listed under Recent activity, so you can see who asked and what went out. Instagram allows one automatic reply per comment, within 7 days; DM replies work within 24 hours of their message.

5. Content Planner — schedule and publish

  1. Add your photo or videoDrag it in, click to browse, or paste a public image link.
  2. Write the captionThe live preview on the right shows how it will look, including where Instagram cuts the caption at about 125 characters — put your hook before that.
  3. Tap your best hashtagsThe suggested ones are the tags that earned you the most views. Click to add them.
  4. Publish now, or scheduleBest time uses your own data. You can also pick any date and time — we publish it for you, no phone required.

Instagram only lets music be added while you post, never afterwards. If a Reel needs trending audio, download it and post from the Instagram app instead.

6. Studio — AI photoshoots

  1. Set up your character onceUpload a full-body photo and a few close-ups, then complete the short video check that confirms it is really you.
  2. Upload a garmentA dress, shirt, or any outfit you want to model.
  3. Pick a location and posesSuggested from the garment. You choose how many photos to generate.
  4. Review and downloadYour photos arrive with a caption written for them. Download and post whichever you like.

7. Reports, Alerts and Settings

  1. ReportsCreate a clean, read-only link to your numbers — useful for brand deals and clients. Anyone with the link can open it; you can turn any link off later.
  2. AlertsWe check daily and flag reach spikes and drops, follower milestones, and engagement changes, so you notice while it still matters.
  3. Weekly emailIn Settings, choose whether to get a Monday summary with your numbers and the top thing to do next.
  4. AccountsAdd or remove Instagram accounts from the profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Removing one keeps your saved history.

Something not working?

My numbers look empty or wrong

Instagram needs a Business or Creator account to share data. Check Settings → Account type and tools inside Instagram, then press Refresh in Valarcha.

I cannot see my audience’s age or city

Instagram hides this until roughly 100 followers, to protect people’s privacy. It appears automatically once you pass it.

My automation did not send

Check the keyword matches what people actually typed, that the rule is switched on, and — if Only DM followers is on — that the person follows you. Recent activity shows a reason for anything skipped.

A post failed to publish

Instagram needs JPG images and MP4 video. The error from Instagram is shown on the post so you can see exactly what it objected to.

I want to disconnect an account

Profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar → the ✕ beside the account. Your saved data is kept, not deleted.
